Stay with us and join the FIGHT for MIRACLES

All proceeds from your stay with us are donated to the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation.

Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS) is a rare genetic disorder affecting a specific gene in chromosome 18, called TCF4. PTHS is characterized by developmental delay, possible breathing problems of episodic hyperventilation and/or breath-holding while awake, recurrent seizures/epilepsy, gastrointestinal issues, lack of speech, and distinctive facial features.

"Collins' Camino" (aka Collin's Way) is dedicated to our granddaughter, Collins Kate Lehrmann, who has been diagnosed with PTHS.  She's such a happy and loving soul who is blessing our lives.  Collin's Camino is focused on bringing awareness of PTHS and supporting the research to aid these wonderful children.

"Planted with purpose"

4Oaks Ranch (aka Rancho de los Cuatro Robles or Ranch of the Four Oaks) is Jeff and Cindy Lehrmann’s labor of love.

While living and working in countries around the globe, they collected numerous pieces of art, carvings, rugs, and furniture reflecting the gracious cultures of each location.   This collection now graces the 4Oaks ranch house.

The ranch property is adjacent to Jeff's father and mother's farm which he grew up.  As a kid, Jeff would "jump the fence" to hunt in their neighbors' fields.  Their neighbors were Darwin and Diane Dietiker who were high school friends of his parents and attended the same church.  In 2013, Jeff and his 3 sons' once again "jumped the fence" to hunt dove.  Jeff realized the property was exactly what Cindy and he had been looking for as a "retirement" home.

That next Sunday they approached Darwin and Diane after church and asked them if they ever considered selling the property, they would be very interested.  Darwin advised they had just discussed selling that weekend.  Within weeks, the property was Jeff and Cindy's.

And during the following decade, every vacation day was spent "back on the ranch" clearing mesquite trees from the pastures, building fences, clearing underbrush in the many oak groves, and preparing for breaking ground on the 4Oaks ranch house in 2020.

4Oaks was featured in the May 2023 edition of the Wacoan Magazine.  The story was entitled, "Planted with Purpose".  Also, check out the 4Oaks Ranch Bed & Breakfast LLC Facebook page for more details.

Robles in Spanish can be translated to "oak tree" or "strong person".  Rancho de los Cuatro Robles honors the Spanish heritage of the Thomas de La Vega land grant the property resides, as well as the four "strong people" in their four children and their families.

"They will be called oaks for righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor"  Isaiah 61:3
